Introduction of discipline in Engineering College

The mechanical engineering discipline with a long history is one of the most principal disciplines in national construction and social development. It mainly revolve functional design of mechanical (electrical) product, manufacture basic theory and technology. Mechanical (electrical) system form conception to implementation can be divided to design phase and manufacture phase, which gives birth to three subjects: mechanics, machine manufacturing and electromechanical engineering & its automation. The mechanical engineering discipline in our school mainly c concentrates on the research in mechanical engineering & its automation, and mechanical design & theory. The primary task is to carry out the automatization of traditional equipment in mechanical engineering, particularly of foodstuff machining equipment and of environmental handing system. The mechanical engineering & its automation discipline aims to the research in automatic control theory, numerical control, mechanical engineering equipment¡¯s automation and intelligentization. The mechanical design & theory discipline aims at quantitative functional integration and behavioral control, which main role fuse all kinds knowledge and information into mechanical engineering system.

This major including two aspect in mechatronics and mechanical manufacturing technology, mainly culture senior engineering person with ability in design & manufacture, science & technology exploitation, application research, running management and distribution management of mechanic engineering field. The students in the major mostly study the basic theory in mechanic design & manufacture, microelectronic technique, computer technology and information processing technique, in order to get primitive ability in mechanic product design, manufacturing, process control, and production organization management.

Main major courses:
Rational Mechanics, Material Mechanics, Mechanic Design, Engineering Material, Machinofacture foundation, Electrician foundation, Electronics Foundation, Single-chip microcomputer and its application, Mechanic Manufacturing technology, CAD, NC technique, and Mechatronics technique and system.

Employment Orientation:

Graduated students can work in some fields such as manufacturing industry, modern machining industry, electromechanics industry, shipbuilding industry, automobile industry and relative research departments.

Meeting with the demand of the construction of the socialism market economy, the Dept. of Industrial Engineering trains talented engineers who master basic modern management theories on engineering, and have strong fundament on mechanical and electrical engineering technologies. They can apply theories on mathematics, physics and social science and technologies on engineering to the organizing, planning, decision making of the human resource, materials, equipments, technologies and information so as to serve all kinds of modern enterprises, organizations and governments.

This program is designed to nurture senior engineering technicians with a basic techniques and specialized knowledge of electrical technology, electronic technology, motion control, process control, control theory, intelligent control theory, pattern recognition & intelligent robot, Auto-Measurement & instrument, computer technology & application, information engineering, network technology, etc. Students will be capable of the job of the systems analysis, design, simulation, operation, research, development, management and decision-making in companies, organizations, colleges of environmental engineering, or go further studying.

The Specialization culture the high-grade professional in application technology, which have the basic knowledge and application ability in dynamic engineering, and can undertake first line product of transportation and vessel in the way of processing, manufacture, maintenance, running management and sale.
The students of the specialization will carry mainly the basic theory learning and practice training, including mechanical design and manufacture, electrician and electrics technology, computer and information processing technology, the principle of vessel, the principle and structure of gas engine, the device and equipment of transport dynamic, vessel electricity and automation controlling of dynamic device, and so on. They will behave the necessitous cultural basis, the knowledge of humane and social science, the theory knowledge and practice skill of dynamic mechanics.

Mechanical graphics, engineering dynamics, engineering material and mechanical manufacture basis, mechanical design basis, heatedness basis, electrician and electric technology basis, hydraulic driving, the principle and structure of gas engine, the device and equipment of transport dynamics, automation controlling of transport dynamic device, the technology management of transport dynamic device, electro-mechanical integration basis and application.
